Dear friends and partners,

As we face our new normal together we know how much all of you value and miss the great exhibition and networking opportunities offered by CE WEEK.

First and foremost, we care about your health and safety and have therefore decided to cancel our trade show in 2021 which usually takes place in June. We will continue to communicate operational updates frequently.

However, we do believe that it takes physical events to enable the consumer tech community to come together, share ideas and introduce products that will shape our future.Although we may need to wait just a little longer to see each other in person again, we are confident that the next time that happens, the IFA Global Event Series will be just as extraordinary as it’s always been.

We invite you to mark your calendars now for IFA Berlin: September 2-6, 2022

Thank you for your continued support.

Please stay healthy and safe!

Best regards,

Alice Schmalzl

THE PROS AND CONS OF VIRTUAL EVENTS

In May, Messe Berlin, which owns Dealerscope publisher CT Lab Global Media, announced that it would not hold its annual IFA Berlin consumer electronics and appliance trade show in September, but would resume its in-person event in September 2022 instead.

IFA Director Dirk Koslowski was invited to speak at  Alibaba.com Online Trade Show Summer, which runs 14th – 27th of June , to talk about the future of trade shows, including the pros and cons of virtual versus in-person events.
