
Jerome leads a team of developers and researchers in charge of the IBM Watson Platform – a set of cognitive services that anybody, students, start ups or fortune 500 companies, can integrate through the cloud. Jerome joined IBM after its acquisition of Vivisimo, the innovative search solutions company he co-founded fifteen years ago. Before Vivisimo, Jerome was a visiting scientist at Carnegie Mellon University’s computer science department, carrying out research on document clustering, data mining and artificial intelligence. Jerome is a Carnegie Science Entrepreneur and Pittsburgh 40 under 40 awardee. He is an alumnus of the École Normale Supérieure in Paris with a Ph.D. in pure maths and degrees in philosophy and cognitive sciences.
